Prof. Dr. Xun Luo
Dr. Luo earned his Ph.D. in Intercultural Business Communication at the University of Jena, Germany, and has served since 2022 as Professor of Intercultural Communication and Business at Justus Liebig University Giessen. He is also a member of the EUPeace Research Hub on Migration and Human Rights.
His research explores the intersections of culture, communication, and media, with a focus on intercultural and international communication, global scientific communication (particularly between Germany and China), the Chinese diaspora, and organizational and digital cultures. Drawing on sociology, anthropology, communication, and management studies, he applies mixed methods to address complex questions. His goal is to generate knowledge that integrates diverse cultural perspectives and responds to pressing societal challenges with rigor and depth.
